To recap, this trip was part of the First Irving Baptist Church High School Mission Trip. Once in New Orleans we split in to three teams and spent the next 5 days working and ministering as hard as we could. My group was blessed enough to server along side The Jesus Project again while also getting to help out at a food pantry and at a brand new school getting set to open up this Wednesday. As we do every year we also spend a good deal of time with the homeless passing out items they will hopefully find useful the next few days/weeks.
